Come experience a beautiful, mountaintop Vermont escape only 5 miles from downtown White River Junction and 10 miles from DHMC hospital! Road and driveway will require AWD or snow-tires in winter. 
Please note I am only renting rooms on the full month and prefer at least 3 month contracts. If your contract starts and ends  mid-month I will charge you for the full month unless we are able to find someone else to take over your room mid-month as well. 
Furnished private rookm in 2-story, 3 bedroom home available. Please note: available bedroom is the THIRD room featured in the photos. 
Home is shared with 1 other healthcare worker roommate and a park services engineer. Both work long hours and are polite, quiet, clean and easygoing: looking for same in 3rd roommate. 
Heat in winter is additional $100/month: combo of propane and woodstove. Washer/dryer, high-speed WIFI included in price. One full & one 1/2 bath.
Your choice of following 2 bedrooms based on availability:
Master bedroom with king-size bed, walk-in closet, 9-drawer bureau and French doors leading to private upper deck. ($1150)
1st floor bedroom with private entrance – full size bed, built-in shelving, bureaus, closet outside room. Good lighting, nice views. ($950)  
Utilities included in rent price include reliable high-speed WiFi, plowing, mowing, and electric. Open to a pet but depends on factors including other roommates’ needs, size and specific pet details. An additional pet deposit is required. Currently there is a young border collie and a cat already living at the house. 
Some more house details: Open plan, well-stocked kitchen, dining room with marble-topped 6-seater table, great for working late nights. Natural lighting living room with Hearthstone soapstone front-window wood-stove and frequently-tuned piano. Wraparound, covered porch. The 30-acre grounds / surrounding woods are gorgeous! Crystal-clear, 15′ deep swimming pond and dock, fruit and berry trees of all kinds including raspberries, blueberries, mulberries, apple, pear, plum and peach trees, and front-yard vineyard. Great for x-country skiing and hiking to App Trail head and maintained / groomed historic snowmobile trail.
PLEASE NOTE!This is a Vermont house in the woods off the beaten trail and as such sometimes there will be typical such issues such as road problems, mud season and occasional small rodent issues when there isn’t a resident kitty. Please also note half-bath is unfinished and in basement only for emergencies such as when someone’s in the shower (basement is otherwise off-limits due to owner storage.***
As mentioned above, you will need a reliable vehicle to get back and forth from town. If there is snow, snow tires or four-wheel drive are recommended. The free Upper Valley shuttle has a stop in the center of Norwich, 10 minutes away from the house. Dartmouth Coach bus and/or Amtrak train arrives directly from New York and Boston into WRJ and Hanover.King Arthur flour espresso cafe, cooking classes and bakery headquarters are 10 minutes away. 15 minutes away: 4 local co-ops. Great local restaurants in Hanover and Norwich include Hanover Inn’s Pine, Carpenter & Main, and the Norwich Inn.Ski resorts:
Dartmouth Skiway: 15 minute drive
Whaleback Mountain: 20 minutes
Sunapee: 30 minutes
Okemo and Mount Snow: 45 minutes
