Beautiful old fully furnished farmhouse in Sharon, VT at the dead end of town-maintained private driveway (great location, private but accessible). Close to town and exit 2 on I-89 (less than 30 mins to Hanover, Lebanon, Randolph, Woodstock; 15mins to WRJ and South Royalton). You can probably get by with 2-wheel drive and good snow tires.

Nice porch, propane and wood fired grills, outdoor table, big yard, frog pond, swimming hole in the stream, outdoor shower, hot tub and 40 acres with meadow and forest trails. 5 bedrooms, currently 1.5 baths (with another full bath on the way), nice big living room.

FULLY FURNISHED, also with lots of books and kitschy old timey items throughout the house – it’s like living in a museum. Has everything you need. Not ideal for someone coming with lots of their own stuff. $3500/month includes all utilities (propane heat, water, electric, ECFiber internet, trash/recycling pickup). Price negotiable for the right tenant.

Well behaved dogs allowed with additional pet deposit.

PLEASE NOTE: there is a separate attached apartment where my mother lives year round. She leaves for work every day, comes home, gardens, is very quiet and really keeps to herself. She is not the landlord/property manager, she is another tenant on the property. The laundry/utility room is shared with both farmhouse and apartment tenants outside spaces are also communal- the yard, ourdoor patio table, hot tub, outdoor shower, garage and shed entryway.

This place has been in my family for 4 generations. I live out of state most of the year but have a little camper in the garage that I come stay in sometimes (mostly in the summer).
